Just wondering who has shot both the standard A&H 14" riser and the 16" RC riser and what do you think? I have both and being a recurve shooter, I can shoot the "14 with a loose grip like I shoot my recurves, and shoot it very well. I picked up a 16" RC a few months back and after a week or so I almost gave up on it and posted it for sale. Having shot a few "D" longbows, I never cared for the heel down tight grip needed to shoot them well. I had second thoughts about selling it so soon and decided to shoot it some more before I gave up on it. I'm glad I did! Once I figured out you have to grip this thing tight it made a world of difference. I guess there's finger grooves and a thumb rest on this thing for a reason. 3" group's at 30 yards as long as I concentrate on gripping it hard. I sure am glad I kept it and maybe someday I'll stop being a "bow junkie" and get down to one bow, but not just yet, it's too much fun!!

I prefer the 16" RC riser over the 14" and 16" standards myself.

For hunting to have a future, we must invest ourselves in future hunters.
