My new 1 pc CX arrived today and I couldn't wait to get it strung up and shoot it alongside my 3 pc

Is one more beautiful than the other? Can't decide
gotta' have both.

The crew put on tips to match the riser-pretty nice job I'dsay
I shot both bows with this 675 grain arrow that has an ABowyer head-man is that sharp!

The 3pc is 49@28 and the new bow is 50@28. They both point the same, yet aren't the same...another good reason to have both!

Ontario Longbow

Very nice,, I really like the looks of the one piece,, Good luck with her,,Frank

I don't choose the deer, the deer chooses me.

TomMcDonald

One piece is definitely more beautiful.

So whats the difference when you shoot? Do they feel the same? Same performance and noise level? What about price? I like them both!

Id say the one piece wins by a wide margin.
I really like the way it looks.

The only bow I sold that I would like back. 64" 59#@28 one piece. That bow shot rings around my 3 piece. Good luck and enjoy her.

I shot the one-piece at Kalamazoo and own a 3-piece.  In terms of performance, about equal as far as I can tell.  One-piece grip is a little fuller in the throat.  That will be a plus for some.  Will be getting another in a few months.  Don't know which it will be yet.  I could have worse problems.  :D

WOW Bjorn the is nice. The best of both worlds. What is the riser wood? That is some purdy stuff.

I got a 3p comming in April with a 16" RC riser in Bubinga.  Cant wait.

The performance is very comparable, with the 1 pc having an edge, the sound is a higher pitch 'plunk' and very subdued-the arrow weight helps too.
I have been shooting the 3 pc exclusively for the past 2.5 years, so anything new will take an adjustment-but there is nothing quite like a 1 pc longbow now is there?
The riser and tip o'lays are Bubinga on this bow.
It has a 10 strand string on right now, with a D97 six strand in the works.

Curveman

Beautiful both! I only REALLY like two and three piece bows that look like a one piece, so I'd pick the one piece.

Now you're gonna be faced with more decisions every time you go out to shoot  :(

Tough problem to have  ;)

I sometimes shoot on Friday nights in a league with Larry from A & H.  Last time I was there he was shooting a 65#@28" one peice.  That bow would flat out smoke an arrow.  I am not sure what the arrow weight he was shooting was but he said he chronoed that bow someplace in the 230's with that arrow.  Man that thing was impressive!!!
