I'm seriously considering one in the classifieds righ now, but I have a quick question;

Does anyone know how a 58" Dye will handle a 30" draw?

It's a beautiful looking recurve, but I'm a little hesitant to part with a lot of cash if it's going to stack badly.

Rob;

I shoot a 64" Dye and have a 31" draw.  I first tried a 62" but that stacked badly.  I think I'm stressing that 64" with my 31"; the limbs have turned white for about 8" out from each fade out.  It draws 10-1/2#'s heavier at 31 vs 28.  I would not advise you go any shorter than a 62" with your 30" draw on a Dye.

That's what I feared  :(

Thanks for the quick response Dave.

Rob,
   If its set for 28 inch draw you are going to be pushing it big time no doubt about it.
