Last week, Coon007 and myself had the previlage of meeting tradganger Gerardo, from Monterrey, MX during a business trip to the city.  He invited us to join him at his local club to shoot some bows and, well just hang out with other trad folks.  Unfortunatly we had to decline due to our schedule.
Fast foward one week and we went back to Monterrey, but this time we brought our bows   :archer:     We met up with Gerardo and he took us to his local range where we met with some of his buddies who were practicing for a 3d tournament that will take place this Sunday.  I'll let them recount the stories of what transpired tonight, but let me just say..."this was the most fun i have ever had shooting a bow" and I don't care if I broke half my arrows with bad shots...

By the way, this was the turkey's first time on the range and we had to break it in right.

TRAD JOE

It was great meeting fellow Tradgangers, I have yet to find someone who isn't friendly as heck on this site! Gatorgar and Coon007, glad you made it down here. Hope to see you guys soon for another great shoot.

thump, thump, thump, PING, thump, thump, jejeje, I'll let someone else translate.

We had a lot of fun, I couldn´t stay all night, but I sure hope we can meet again and shoot together with this two great fellow tradgangers.

Looks like fun Alex!  When are you going to come down to McA and play with the new Bonner bow?  I also have those turkey wing bones set aside for you.

Duck'n...as soon as time and funds, permit, I'll drive down.  I want to try that new bow of your's something fierce.
Bob, is there somewhere we can shoot in Laredo?
50@25 when are you going to order your new Sarrel's, you shot mine better than I did. Trad Joe it was a real pleasure getting to spend time with all of you and we are now trying to get permission, Coon's wife,  to drive down there for the actual event.  BTW I don't think Coon is going to tell us about that "thump, thump, ping" thing, so either you or Gerardo are going to have to speak up about that,  I cannot say nothing because, even though he is a good friend, above all else he is still my BOSS, hehe

I will bring it to the lake in a couple of weeks...probably along with both my Sarrels.  May be getting a Superstition sooner than I thought.  Just gotta decide if I want to sell a gun or not to get it!

2Knives

Looks like a great time!
I'm a little jealous though.
I'm from TEXAS but I'm stationed in South Dakota.
Right now it -14 and plenty of snow on the ground!
They say tomorrow is supposed to get up to 20 degrees and then maybe me and the guys can get together and have a little 3D fun also....I LOVE those little handwarmer things!!!!!!!

Gerardo, Tradjoe, Roberto, 50@25 and Herman just want to say thank you for allowing us to shoot with your group and hopefully we will see you on sunday. Ok I confess I was the only guy that did not hit the turkey head shot, but I still got in the picture. this is an awsome group of tradgangers folks.

Its nice to see the sparks that are made when an arrow hits metal at great speeds, its better when its not your arrow

Looks like you guys had a great time Alex.  Really glad you are enjoying your new stick.  Just about to get started on Jorge.  Looks like Briand will be comin up mid march to pick up a Superstition.  I kinda felt he could'nt hold out much longer.  Bob
Now then, get your weapons ~ your quiver and bow ~ and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.  Gen. 27.3

The best place to shoot in Laredo is my backyard. It has the most important thing here in Laredo...Sombra. Let me know when you are in town, I am at Sames.
