any tradgangers around steeleville , sparta, or chester illinois. randolph county? i"ve been at this for 37 years and haven't run in to many. just discovered this site a couple momths ago and thought it would be a good place to check.

there are 2 3d shoots coming up at sparta il.; at the world shooting complex.
march 29th  and april 26th.
they're open to all bows. my son and i may attend. haven't been to one in years. use to really enjoy the ones held in evansville il. along the kaskaskia river back in the 80's.
not been many around since they quit.

Fellas, I live in Wayne City, which is a little east of Mt. Vernon. As Fletcher mentioned We have an event at Rend Lake every year. I am the region 5 rep for the UBI and we sponsor a Bowfish and BBQ Bash there every year in May. Anyone interested in the event or the UBI can email me or Fletcher for details. We have a great time and good food.

Is the event at rend lake just bowfishing or is there a 3d shoot along with it?
not much into bowfishing myself. been there and done that years ago and just didn't care much for it ; but that's just me; i know others enjoy it.

If I can remember I'll shoot you an e-mail before the sparta shoot. It will probabaly be around 11:30 am when we go. I'm usually working; but will take off early. Maybe we'll see you there.

 The event is mostly a get together of trad shooters that enjoy BS'ing around camp, some great food, and bowfishing. It is family oriented so everyone can bring the whole family.
