My wife has been thinking about starting to shoot with my daughter and I, so we bought her  a used bow for Valentine's day.  The riser is a Quinn, which I just refinished in a blue metal fleck paint, for her.  The limbs are from Sapphire Archery red elm belly, carbon back and 34#@28".  I put on a plunger and magnetic rest  for her and the bow shoots like a dream!  We have a new armguard on order with Mike at MAL and we are getting some arrows tuned up for her.

Wont loose that bow with the riser that color. Great Valentines day present. Wish my wife wanted to learn to shoot.

Can you tell me more about getting some long bow limbs to put on my Quinn riser? Were they special made for you or do they have them for sale? How can I contact that company?

Nice bow !!

Thanks, Don

Very nice Chris...that rest sure looks familiar.

You have a good eye there Allen!  LOL!

Don, I bought the riser and limbs together and did not have the limbs made myself.  They have a website though.  If you can't find it with an internet search, shoot me a PM and I will get you a link and an e-mail address.

Sweet bow,  your a good guy.
Now then, get your weapons ~ your quiver and bow ~ and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.  Gen. 27.3

Lefty,

Nice bow. Is that a Comet riser? I have a Quinn Stallion and I have been trying to find out if anyone is making longbow limbs or for that matter would they work on a Stallion riser?

One bow. One arrow. My ideal.

Love to see a man buying a good bow for his wife.  I think a lot more ladies would get into the sport if they just had a good fitting bow.

guzzi,  I don't know which riser it is for sure.  I can't even say if the riser are different for each model.  My comparing them on the website, it looks more like the limbs define the model and the risers are the same, although I don't know that for a fact.  I do strongly believe that these limbs would fit on a stallion riser.

Katie you are right! And how luckier could a guy be that to have his beloved share in his love of archery!
