Tim Lewis , the author of Bows Swamps and Whitetails is a good friend and the piebald deer on the cover pic, I killed a couple years after the photo was taken.

Between Christmas and my birthday, I got
* 'A Man Made of Elk' - ok but not great, IMO
* 'Fred Bear's Field Notes' - outstanding and
* 'The Traditional Bowhunters Handbook' - haven't started yet but looks to be loaded with great stuff.

Also working on 'The Witchery of Archery' - really good but all of the ... odd target choices are distracting to me.

"One with The wilderness" It will inspire you with hunting and nature.
