I'm pretty new at this trad bow tuning, so bear with me. I'm shooting a right-handed Beeler longbow, 55#@28", drawing 27.75". My arrows are 29", 2018 XX75 Autumn Oranges, tipped with 145 grain field points with 3 - 5 inch fletches. When watching the arrow in flight, the nock kicks to the right, but it hits straight into the target. My groups are consistent, not always where I want, but consistent. Today, I was shooting three arrows with the 145 grain FP's and three with 175 grain STOS BH's. Same deal, nocks look like they are kicking right. Groups consistent and BH's hitting with FP's. Is this just an illusion? I've played with brace height within Dave's specs and lessened the kick right some, but as long as I'm within his specs, there is still nock kick to the right. Should I try something else or am I being to OCD with arrow flight?

Your 2018's at 29" spine about 60# I'm not familiar with the Beeler longbow, but I'm guessing its cut too center, if it is your a little under spined. I would try two things. 1. a 125 gr point or 2. place a wooden tooth pick behind your strike plate, right where the arrow is rubbing on it and see what happens.

Could fletching contact cause this problem? I shoot cock feather up and I do show wear on the inside hen feather.
