Shrews - Close up pics of your rests

Just want to see how you have set yours up.

My Shrew came with a continuos plate and shelf. I always have set mine up with a gap and used leather for the rest part (leaving a space). Always have done it that way and not sure if the feather actually traveled through the gap anyway.
