I am looking for a compact 3 or 4 arrow quiver for my Marriah Thermal that should be ready soon.  I was thinking of the Kanati, EFA or the Thunderhorn small fry.  I have a full size Thunderhorn and like it, but would like to downsize.  All opinons welcome.  Thanks, Jonathan

Never tried the other two but I have and LOVE the Kanati I just got. Very compact, lightweight, and secure. I highly recommend the Kanati.

I put four arrows in my EFA this year which meant the broadheads were nearly touching in the hood.  Because I didn't pull an arrow perfectly it bumped against another arrow and the elk spook.  So now I know to use only three arrows.
I would recommend the same to anyone who wants to go with EFA, just three arrows for big game.  Aside from that, the EFA compliments my selfbow well with its low profile and matching snakeskin.

If size and weight are not so much of an issue then you might want to go Thunderhorn for the extra space and the extra stability that some experience with the added weight on the bow.

Another vote for the Kanati.  I just got the Kanati Angle and it is fantastic.  Covers the full length of the Griz 190 and it will hold 4 Snuffers.  Mounting is rock solid, no arrow slip, no quiver slide, and absolutely silent. Great Quiver!

IMO any of the 3 would be an excellent choice. I would call each of them to see what they have in stock and go with the one that has what you are looking for.

I have the Thunderhorn small fry it holds 4 arrows and works great for me and is beautifully built.

The Kanati and EFA a very similar and light weight. The Thunderhorn is heavier but is nice. I personally prefer the EFA with the Talon grip. Get the Jumbo head to give more room for that 4th broadhead.

I haven't tried the Kanati. but I much prefer the Thunderhorn small fry. Excellent, well built quiver. I had an EFA and did not like it at all.

Not everyone will want the same quiver. There are a number of good bowquivers on the market. Each with qualities that will please some, but not everyone. Our specialty is making the best lightweight quivers on the market. Our basic 3 arrow quivers weigh about 3.2 ounces, and almost all of our quivers weigh less than 6 ounces. I don't think any other manufacturer can match that.

It's our goal at Eagle's flight Archery to make the best quality, ultralight weight quiver possible. (We make them specifically for those of you who want a quiver that doesn't change how your bow shoots.) We also make a variety of quivers in 4 different size hoods, 4 different hood designs, and for different applications including for takedown, side mount, two piece, and our latest one piece adjustable "Totem" system.

We are currently providing all of our limb gripping quivers with our "Talon" grip system. It is still very easy to attach or remove from your bow, but grips tighter to the bow than the original system. We think that it's a major improvement and have retrofitted a number of the older quivers with them at customer request.

In summary, it's not good quivers or bad quivers. It's what qualities are you looking for. You can't build a quiver like a tank and keep it lightweight.

Check to see if any of them are planning a "New and Improved" model before you purchase. I bought a quiver and a week later the NEW model was available    :banghead:

That goes for bows too!
