Question of Arrow Weight

Looking for some advice. Currently I shoot 55/75 Goldtips with a 100gr. insert and 150 WW out of my longbow. I have been very happy with the performance on deer. Usually complete pass throughs. I have even shattered leg bones on the opposite side. Total weight of this set up is around 550gr.
Running very low on the GT wondering about the Heritage 250's. Spine is close to the GT, but more gr./inch. From my calculations I could increase my arrow weight apx. 45-50gr.
Question is will 45-50gr. increase in weight really increase the arrows penetration performance? Do y'all think I need this increase?
I am sure it will make the bow a little queiter, and speed will decrease slightly, but I don't think enough to make a real difference.

I feel there is not enough penetration difference to sway you either way on the arrows. I would go with what is cheapest , most available and components availbility.

On principle, you must have a total weight of yours arrows to 10 grains by power pound

example for a bow to 50 pounds: arrow to 500 grains

Heavier the better for me. I like my arrow weight to be around 575-600 grains.
As far as penetration, you'll certainly gain a slight advantage with a little more weight but I don't think it will make much of a difference if your already at 550 grains. I see the big advantage of having a quieter bow.

The biggest advantage would be durability of the CE Heritage.  They are the toughest shaft out there, so it would probably be cheaper in the long run.  You would gain some penetration, but it would be hard to notice.
