Hi guys

May I first wish everyone a very merry Xmas and a happy, healthy and rewarding New Year.

I know this kind of question gets asked quite often but please bear with me.

I would like suggestions for carbon shafts to try for the following setup.

I am shooting a 58" CariBow "Wolverine" R/D flatbow(Basically a Peregrine with shorter riser)44# at my draw length of 26".
The arrow set up I would like to shoot is 27 1/2" BOP, 100 gn insert, 100gn adapter & 180gn broadhead and would welcome your thoughts on what deflection/spine carbons I should be looking for.

If it helps any, I have just checked Pete Ward's review of the Peregrine and, based upon his chrono results,  guess that this setup should shoot around 160fps.

Many thanks

Gold  Tip 3555 or Carbon Express Heritage 90 might work. Heritage 90 will not accept 100 grain brass inserts. If the 3555 and the CXH 90 are too stiff, Vapor 2000 might be best.

yep, what John suggested, gold tip 35-55s w/ 100grn inserts. leave full length and cut down about a 1/2" at a time to get the right stiffness.

Will the 35-55s be stiff enough with 390gn up front?

if your not sure, you could probably give sipsey river a call and order 6- 35/55 and 6- 55/75 as a test kit and then you could play with them to find out which ones your bow likes.
