Never owned one or been in one but my son (1 year old) I figure he would have the best chance of success when starting out from a blind.  So I want to buy one that will be big enough for the two of us (when he is bigger than one year old) and tall enough to shoot my 62" recurve out of.  The height thing I think i the bigger problem.  Anybody with experience with this please give you input. thanks

Double Bull T5 Recurve or its equivlant made today.  I shoot a 62 inch revurve and have no problems shooting out of it.  Killed one doe and one turkey out of it. Plan on using it with my 4year old soon enough.  I've taken some pretty good naps in it myself.  Should have pleanty of space for you and a little one.

I bought one at Dick's Sporting goods for my brother made by Primos that was excellent and under $100.
Folding it up was not easy(at first), we even had to go on youtube to find a posting of how to fold it up.
(it hurts to admit that, a college prof,  a teacher, and  phd candidate couldn't figure it out on our own)
Once set up it was great and plenty tall enough for my recurve.
