I'm looking for a good pocket monocular. Anyone use one? I'd spend $100 plus on a good one.

I've looked through the Brunton and it didn't seem bright enough for hunting with it's 18mm objective.  The Zeiss MiniQuik is probably of high quality, however, once again you have the small objective.  I'd look seriously at the Vortex monocular with it's 25mm objective.  It's larger than the others and should provide a brighter view.  I've had excellent experiences with Vortex binoculars.

Mojostick - keep this just between me and you OK.  I would want my trad buddies to find out I carry a range finder.   :)   I do use a RX3 range finder and most often use it as a monocular to look pigs and deer over.  well and yes I might just push the range finder button now and again

I have a Bushnell from 30 years ago and don't use it.  it seems to me that the effort to find a target in it is difficult and binos are clearer and easier to get on target-just my opinion.

I've used the little Zeiss mono before and really like it.  I kinda want one of those, tbh.

Stiener used to make an eight power monocular that was a porro prisum design and it could be twisted around to make it smaller. It was of good quality, very bright and I am still kicking myself for not buying one when I looked at them.

I might buy a good one someday, but until then I'll keep using a $10 tasco monocular.

Gray Buffalo

I try not to let my mind wander...It is too small and fragile to be out by itself.

I have one used it twice and did not like it. You are more than welcome to have it if you want it?
Its not the size of the animal you hunt that matters. Its how you hunt the animal.
