GL over Polycrilic?

Has anyone used a coat or 2 of gasket lacquer over minwax water based polycrilic? I wanted to see if anyone had before I sacrificed a shaft? I am wanting a little more abrasion resistance for targets. Thanks Flint

I use Minwax PC over my crests before I dip them in GL.

I put on about 3 coats and wait a couple hours before dippin.
