I handled one at Denton and fell in love but couldn't swing it then. About a month ago found out my job was going away. So being a self respecting highly opinionated individual. I was about to celebrated my fifth year of giving up smoking. What better time to purchase a new bow. I know what you're thinking!!!!!

The bow was one of Mike and Jasons instock bows. It was the longbow Maple and cocobolo riser. I also ordered an extra set of recurve limbs. Had them install a set of snake skins. They came out beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!

Long bow is 62" amo and 51#@28" limbs are Bamboo under clear glass.

Recurve limbs make the bow 60" and 49"@28" and are bamboo under blackglass. I asked for black glass cause they make the snake skins look all that much better.

When I got the bow I quickly mounted the recurve limbs set the nocking point and the brace height at 7" (good starting point). It was getting a little dark but I can shoot crappy at any time of the day or night! I quickly paced off around 20 yards and shot 3 easton 2016's into an area about the size of a tea cup, 2 arrow were touching, all 3 were right where I was aiming. Now for the pic's.

Lee,

Glad you like it.  Run that brace up to about 8 on the curve and a little shorter on the longbow.

That is a pretty bow.

Ron, glad you like the Mahaska and thanks for the kind words!

Larry, thanks, you going to the Bunny hunt?

Mike, Thanks for the info on the brace height. I was going to email you on it. I took your advice from another thread on the silencers. I used wool rovings as an experiment.
