I just placed my order for a new PAX with curly bubinga!     :jumper:   I can't wait!!  Anyhow, I need some help in choosing the correct arrows.

When I got the demo, they sent some Carbon Express HE 90's with it for me to try.  The bow I was shooting was 48# at 28 inches.  I draw 27 inches so I'm thinking it was around 46#'s.  I looked on CE's website and using their calculations, it shows I should be using a HE250.  When I spoke to BW, they recommended that I get a couple of HE 90 and HE150 shafts.

So should I get HE250 shafts to try as suggested by CE or go with HE90 and HE150's?

Thanks!

Bill

Thanks Drew!

Then, should I try the 90's or 150's?

I would think the 90's cut 27 1/2 would be close but if you want to add more tip weight then the 150 's would be the way to go . Drew

I shoot 250's cut 30" with 165 grain points. Drawing 56 lb with my recurve. Drew is right about the sizing. You should pick up a couple of 150 shafts and tune both sizes. I did this and it worked out great.
