I bought a 40# recurve for my 12 year old. It seems ok except there is a pin sized hole on the back of the upper riser. It looks to me like a burn from a welding or grinding ember. What concerns me is the fracturing that appears on the surface. Should I? Can I? How can I attempt to repair this damage? I was thinking about filling it and covering it with an epoxy. Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.
Thank You.

If it shoots ok with no funny sounds in the limb ,I think I would just put some super glue in it and finish over it.My 2 cents David

Yeah it seems solid. I draw 29 1/4 and it seems fine.
Why super glue?
