Being new to traditional archery and also from Michigan I'm looking for a recommendation on a shooting glove that will keep my shooting hand warm as well as allow me to feel the bowstring with my shooting fingers. I can't seem to find anything and was wondering if those of you from colder climates could give me some idea what you use.

Thanks!

I use a damascus glove and just put my hand in one of them hand warmers that go around your waist

I use a muff also - I shoot tabs though!  Gloves are just too bulky for me to feel the bow or the string.

I like those gloves with the fingers cut off and the mitten like cover sewed on that cover your fingers you can pull them off and they velcro stick to the back of your glove and out of the way! They work for me!

That description was as clear as mud!

The couple of days a year it does get to what can be considered cold down here I normally use some smartwool or army issue green wool liners that I cut the 3 shooting fingers off of so I can wear my glove. Also have a muff that I use once in awhile.

I use the same kind of army issue wool liners with fingers cut of as Chris I found these work best and i spend alota days hunting in the winter they keep my hands fine.
