I won both their PLX Longbow and their PDR Recurve.LX in Bocote and PSR in Ironwood.

It took about a week for me to transition from the LB to the Recurve. Now I am driving tacks with it. It is short, quiet and superfast.

Shoot the PSR, you'll love it!

I have a MA 62" 59@28 and a 60" 65# PTFX [cocobolo and tulip wood]  Love the PTF sooo much I just sold a Super Shrew to buy a TFIII also 60" but only 59@28 as it will be a little easier on the shoulders [ have had surgery on both]. Have shot both grip styles and I prefer the std. but my hands are only Med. in size.

Hey DesertDude - Did you get that bow about the middle of June?  The reason I ask is because I ordered a PTF in June and I saw a bow like that one at BW and ordered one just like it.  BW accidentally ran mine with a standard grip and I wanted Asbell.  So, since they were going to need to glue up another one I decided to go back to my original choice of Bocote.  My new Bocote is now at the house, but I'm across the Atlantic and won't be home until March.  Anyway, that's a beautiful bow, and I almost wish I had stuck to the one like yours.  And by the way for those who would question the value of a Widow, that picture is worth a thou$and words.  Donnie.

Mojostick,

Let us know how you like the PA.  I'm going to call them next week to demo a bow and the PA was number 1 on my wish list.  I'm in the same situation as you in that I have two young ones at home and no time to travel for a hunt.  So I wanted a one piece.

Did they have a PA in 47 lbs with the Asbell grip?

Donnie I got the bow from T.A.C. around the first part of Sept. Simply feel in love with it. He told that it was made for someone but the grip was wrong....Lucky me
