I have some action wood I need to stain pink for a girl's bow.  What's the best product for this?

I have used Rit Dye dissolved in denatured alcohol to dye a variety of woods. Never dyed action wood but suspect it would work just fine, just add coats until you get the color you want. Try it on a piece of scrap wood first to see if it is what you want.

Minwax makes colored versions of their water bases stains..dont know if you can use it but they have some cool looking colors.

Rigs

I have done just as Eric suggests...Good results with the colors I have used.  Sorry to say pink was not one of them.  Good luck.

Just be careful with denatured alcohol...Use eye and splash (rubber gloves) protection and use in a ventilated area...  no sense in having a hobby mess with your health.

here's some elm I did...

Happy hunting,
Jason

P.s.  Looks good under glass...
