I was looking through some disks I had laying around and found this. This poem was written by a gentleman a few years ago. I liked it so much I did the background and put the photo of Fred Bear on it. Hope you enjoy.
Thanks
Rob

Very nice Rob.  George has a way with words, doesn't he.  Certainly captures the man.

Excellent!!!!!! That sure would look good on the cabin wall!

I asked him if it was ok to do it and post it. But that was years ago. He had posted it on another forum at the time.

Well yes....you added a very nice touch.  I appreciate your appreciation more than you know.

Goerge, I have to say every time I read this poem it takes me back to the first deer I took. I took that deer with a late 50's Kodiak. You definitely have a way with words.

Rob,
I grew-up just eleven miles from Plainfield where Fred was raised.  I think he still walks the woods in South Mountain around there 8^).  Have you seen his video, "The Oldest Game?"  I believe you would really like that one.

Fred's dad, Harry Bear, was a member of the Carlisle Fish and Game until he passed away. They have an archery shoot each year there called the Harry Bear Memorial Shoot.

Thank you,  George

I don't believe I've seen that video. I'll have to see if I can find a copy of it.
