Hi all, a few years back there was an article in the TBM that had the plans for a aerial target thrower that launched bottles into the air.

I cant find that issue in my stack of TBM's and cant find the plans online....

Anyone know of a site that has it....or the issue that it was in so i could get another?

Thanks!

There was a guy here on trad gang that built one. Below is a picture of it that I saved for later use. I'm planning on building one also.I also bought the plans to build one of wingshooters target thowers.

I've got it but I'll have to look for it, I'll let you know which one it's in in a little while.

Huntsmanlance,
I printed it off from Trad Gang. Looks to have been posted December 30th, 2004 from member #804. There is an e-mail address if you can't find it in the archives.

That would be me.  I'd have to go dig out the article to find it also.  I don't have any idea which issue it was in.

This is how I do my bottles.  You need something with a square top or shoulder.  I painted my bottles for better visibility.

It comes from "Larrry's Brilliant Brace of Birds."
by William J. Josler
Pg 59 of Vol. 15, NO. 4 Aug/Sep 2003

If you look at the pics above Marvin posted, the only real notes  are to use square shouldered bottles like he said, to use an adjustable brace to change the angle of the launcher and to pre-connect the string in the clothes pin before setting the bottles made it easier.

Hey Lance, I ain't done much but lurk around here for a while, but I noticed your name up, see your still hangin' around.
