Has anyone thought about adding Bob Lee to Trad Gangs "Legends and Pioneers" section? He has been around a long time and is well spoken of. I know he has a story to be told. Why not add him to the list while he is still around to fill in the blanks?

Great idea, Bill!

I'll second the motion, all in favor?  :campfire:

Everything I've read about him says he's done a lot for our sport for twice as long as I've been alive.

Excellent idea.  I don't think he is a member but something like a member's interview would be a great addition too.

Hey Bill, why don't you consult with Terry Green and write the story!

I think Bob belongs there...with his many years of accomplishments in the field of archery and bow making skills....he ranks right up there.

Seems I read somewhere that he is the one who built the first Take-Down Recurve. Can anyone confirm or deny that?

Bob Lee Archery is one our sponsors. I'd help out any way I could. I'm only a couple of hours from Jacksonville, TX., the home of Bob Lee Archery.

Mr Mayor, if I can help, I'm just up the road from you and willing to help any way that I can.

I have written an artilce about Bob for the LSBA magazine (3 years ago) and nominated/inducted Mr. Lee into the LSBA Hall of Fame a couple of years back...

I won't pretend to know Bob well, but I am a fan. From the little amount of time that I've spent visiting with him he seems to be a humble man who doesn't really think that he's done anything special...we know better.   ;)
