I think (or thought) I knew the answer to this one but seems like what worked was the opposite of what I was thinking.  Assuming the string nocks are even and accurate so their depth or angle is not a factor.
This is a glass lam bow but I assume it would be the same for all bow types.
When the bow is strung and you look at it from the string(belly) side. The string sits off center. It is obviously closer to one edge of the limb than the other.
Is the edge that it is closer to the stronger side or the weaker side?????
Also, which side of the limb would you sand to bring the string back to center???

My thoughts were...the side the string was closer to was the strong side, and ,, you would sand on that same strong side to correct it?
 Any help, Thanks Steve

Limb pulls to the stronger side. Sanding the limbs can be tricky. I would advise taking the nock depth on the stronger side deeper (sideways not down) towards center of limb. This will move string loop away from stronger side.. Take it slow and go about 1/32 - 1/16 at a time.
Aim down your arrow because thats where it's going.

Look at the top of the limbs and find were the limb is lower on one side. Some thing like /. It won't look that bad but you should be able to see it. looking at it from the back the lower side is the stronger side.

Put some pics up..I just went through this on a recurve I am building. Not the exact same problem. My string ran center but was off center at the tips, and my curves were twisted as "/".

If this is one you built get your weighted string out and make sure your limbs are straight.
