Newbie progress

I got a hold of my new recurve at the end of June, a Samick Volcano 50#, and have been shooting it almost every day since. I've been sticking to 10 yards until I get more comfortable, but I'm actually doing quite good. I can last about 1/2 hour practicing until my muscles start to fatigue, causing me to shoot like a cross-eyed halfwit. This new hobby/obsession is too fun, even when my shooting is off. I find myself daydreaming about it at work, imagining myself sneaking up on an unsuspecting buck or javelina, or ambushing a coyote (another obsession of mine is predator calling). At any rate, I'm loving it. Happy hunting!
