Just wanted to give a shout out to Doug ( myshootinstinks ) here on the boards.

 I am the proud new owner of the Blacktail Columbian longbow that I sniped off the classifieds this week (my apologies to those who also contacted Doug to purchase!).

 Doug was an absolute pleasure to deal with.  Lightning fast delivery, and the above and beyond attitude of a true sportsman.  Not only did he deliver a bow in superb condition, but also included a bowsock, and sent along a few arrows for me to test out for tuning.

 Come to find out, he also has forgotten more about shooting than I'll ever know, and weathered my endless questions with wisdom and patience.  

 So, myshootinstinks you are a gentleman and a scholar, and if you are ever in my neck of the woods, gimme a ring.  We'll go shoot, and you are welcome at my dinner table any time.

Why thank you Spencer for the kind words and I'm tickled that you and that longbow are getting along so well.  You'll find that the folks that use this site are helpful and honest in their dealings, if they're not, they don't last long around here.

I'am with Spencer on this. I purchased the chinook that was also on sale. I received it thursday and really appreciate the care that was put into the shipping of the bow. Bow is in excellent shape as advertised. Just wish I knew what the brace height was supposed to be. Mike
