Well, I finally got to meet "the man" as well as the other excellent guys behind KME.  Ron has been a great guy to talk to over the phone, and even better in person.  At Denton this weekend, we handed Ron a major challenge - a Dead Head that looked as if it had been recovered with a metal detector after years in the ground.  Chipped tip, dings in the blade, and rust/corrosion everywhere.  I bet it would have had a problem going through a stick of butter.  My cousin handed it to Ron and said "impress me".  After about 10-15 minites, he had an edge that was throwing hair like a string trimmer in a hay field.

For those of us that just don't have the knack with a file, this is the system.

Thanks Ron.

I just ordered one yesterday for some STOS heads. Can't wait to give it a try. I need something that is idiot proof!

I got one from 3Rivers a week ago and used sandpaper on a 12x12 piece of flat tile to put a scary polished edge on some 150 grain Grizzly El Grandes  :bigsmyl:

You should have been at Whittingham when Ron's brother was sharpening a butter knife with one of their knife systems.   :biglaugh:
