Ad trad footings

Hey Gang,
  anyone know what size shaft to use to foot the nock end of AD trads? Thanks guys, Matt

I've done it with 1913's but there might be a better fit out there. My next set I'm planning on just using serving material wrapped tight and epoxied in place.

Kevin- It's an extra safeguard against the arrow splitting from the nock end.  If the arrow strikes something hard, like a rock, it could force the nock insert up into the back of the arrow.  The footing would make the arrows very durable.  

That's a good idea deadsmple.  Maybe I'll give that a go.

Any other experience with this would be very helpful.  Thanks guys, Matt
