A friend just gave me a Ben Pearson BP-H30 7348. The bow looks like new. On the riser it says AR 1592 60" 40 XX - 28". I assume the poundage is 40 @28 and the length is 60 inches, what does the rest indicate?
"Our arrows will blot out the sun." "Then we will fight in the shade."

42 lbs at 28 inches 60 inch amo(needs a 56"string) rest is the serial number

Its a 1970 Sierra Stalker

Yep, the XXs mean it is a couple pounds heavier than stated. If you look under the side plate on the shelf it will have the exact poundage listed.

crookedwoody

each x is 2# if after the 40 it is 44 if before 40 it would be 36
