Great shooting Lee. Congrats on the new bow. You'll have to let me get a closer look at it on the 27th.

I was just at Chuck Jones house yesterday he is a buddy of mine. He is the man who builds these Black Rhino bows. Glad you are enjoying it. Flint

Yeah, that's what Dad is for. He didn't even give me a chance to shoot Sunday - kept me busy blowing up balloons.

I always keep a big bag of balloons in my quiver for when I shoot at one of the state ranges with nothing but excelsior bales for targets. I love using them as targets!

I'll get Lee back on here tomorrow night to read everybody's comments. I'm sure that smile will be even bigger then!

The scabs on his legs are from mosquito bites he got on a wilderness survival trek at Scout camp last week. He has a bad habit of scratching them until they bleed.

Great looking stick my friend.  Are you planning on hunting with it this season?

I wish he would be able to hunt with it this season.

NJ requires a separate hunter ed. course for bowhunters, with a proficiency test. I doubt he could pass it yet, especially because I've heard that certain instructors really give trad shooters a hard time. Not to mention he would need a different bow anyway...minimum draw weight is 35# at the archer's draw length.

By this time next year I'm hoping he can go show those wheelie boys how it's done.

Thanks for all the compliments. I was at my mom's house visiting and when I came back two weeks later, my dad had the bow on his bow rack waiting on me. It was basically shouting "Lee, shoot me!"

I had a blast shooting it and was really happy when I got that group. It is the best group I have ever shot.

I have a lot of fun shooting that longbow!
