just made the switch from wood to carbon and all I can say is accuracy and arrow durability has increased but these arrows seem really loud of my bow, where as the wood arrows were whisper quiet, are carbons just loud?

What is the weight of your carbons compared to your woodies?

HATCHCHASER

Weight and nock fit.  Check both.
It's not the arrival, it's the journey.

I find my carnons to be as quiet as my wood as long as I stay around 9-10gpp. I agree about the nock fit, if they are too tight ya will get that twang. Shawn

Have you tuned your bow? Your bow may like a different brace height for a different arrow. That also can make a difference.

As has been said, check the arrow weight and nock fit.  I find that as long as my arrows weight the same and are matched to the bow I have no problem switching between them and no noise difference.
