? on Martin longbow

I just picked up a ML-14 longbow along with several old recurves. Does anybody have any experience or comments on this bow. This one is 50# @ 28" and 68" long. I have to build a string for it yet. The bow looks in very good condition with clear glass over what may be elm veneers or something similar. Who has one or has shot one? When did they stop making these. Thanks for any info.
