After winning Woody's (Knife River) knapped arrowheads and buying Dryad Soothsayer during the St. Judes auction realized I did not have any quality shafts to go along with them.

So, my dilemma is now trying to find someone who makes and sells primitive arrows. Does anyone know of anyone?

Now if I can not find some nice primitive arrows can someone recommend a arrowsmith who makes footed shafts. Need someone who will be willing to work with me on these as I would like to try and get some special arrows done up.

Thanks ahead of time for the help.

Chris...you lucky!
I am wearing one of Woody's points right now, and wish I were in your shoes! Shot with him and Joe every chance I got. He never told me that he knapped, I guess it kept me from pestering him for shards of deerdeath.

There are many crafters here to choose from. Ted knows a thing or two about shafting and building arrows! You will finally get arrows worthy of the stone they carry, and then we will want a report.  :readit:

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Thanks for the help. It is tough to check out all the vendors and search the web with dial up speed or slower internet. Hoping this will narrow my search down a little.

Killy, If every works out I will be home on leave   just after the Dryad arrives and hope to have the arrows at my folks house by September.

Now if the pigs and deer will just keeping hanging around the blinds until I get home everything may come together.
