I have just bought a RAGIM TAKDOWN 68 inch,
40 lbs @ 28 inches . Can anyone give me an idea on what arrow would shoot well from this bow.

I shoot a 43 lb. I use an axis 500 I have two wraps on it, and 125 grain Broadhead, total arrow weight for me is 435 gr.  It works out for me.  It calculates to 10 gr's per inch.  If you do anything between 9 and 12 to do all right, sometimes it helps to leave your arrow longer, but the best thing is to bear shaft tuning your arrow.  I have used the axis 500 because they are high penetrating arrow.

Though the others that will give you some advice because there is quite a few on here that shoot between 40 and 48 lbs.

Depending on arrow length and point weight, a 600 or 500 spined carbon should shoot well from that bow.  I'd lean more towards the .600 series.
For aluminum shafts, a 29" 1816 or 1914 should tune.

if your draw is 28" i would go with a 500 spined carbon arrow .you can get a 3 arrow test kit from three rivers to help pick the right one .

I bet a full length Axis 500 or Beman MFX Classic 500 will shoot for you.  The Beman is a little heavier.  The thinner shafts move the arrow closer to center and allow you to shoot a little stiffer spine.  If you want a lighter target arrow try a Gold Tip Entrada 600.
