Impatiently waiting for my long bow to come in.I feel like a little kid waiting for christmas to come. Exploring ideas on what kinds of shafts. was looking into wood with very little success.If I shoot carbons I will go to AD shafts.Then I was looking into alluminums as well... What shaft do I need??

for the right shaft???hmmmm That one is all up to you...Carbons are pretty much the shafts to have... I'm a diehard Wood arrow Man. My ash shafts are just right for me & my shrew. Again the shaft type is all You.

Richard,
   Legacy 2020, or 2117's would work for you, why where you having no success with wood arrows?  I have PO Cedar, Ash, and Spruce.  I am sure we could find something that will work for you.

I was having a problem with the weight I want to shoot. I want to be around 625 gr.

What arrow length and spine do you think you are going to need?  I have some lam birch 55-59 lb, 26.5" BOP arrows that are 690-700 gr with a 160 point.  Going longer and lighter from there can be done, too.  If you want to shoot woods, we can make it work.    :help:
