This is why I keep THREE spare strings:
*Every fall a new one goes on my two piece bow that I travel with so it's fresh and crispy for hunting.  When this happens, I'm down to two spares.  One spare goes in the hunting pack and a second spare goes in the Pelican travel case which is at the truck.  Even if I happen to manage to need BOTH in one season, more less one hunt, they will be there!
*Then I just place another order with Pierre for a spare third string and I'm good to go for a year, even covering multiple accidents and thousands of arrows.
