I want to hear how "Biggie's Upper Lip" got it's name. That's got to be a good one.  :biglaugh:

Stand names:
Bent tree stand

Spooky Stand

Gate stand

Double stand

Powerline stand

"Freezer Filler" is one of mine. It's a tiny open patch in super dense cover that has always produced a doe.
Just one more step please!

Some dude with a stick and string chasing things.

Biggie's Upper Lip is in a little hardwood bowl where Biggie Hoffman shot his best whitetail buck to date. I picked the tree for him and he came through with flying colors. There's also a Biggie's Lower Lip for a different wind direction. If you ask him nice maybe he'll post a picture of his buck for you guys. bw

That was pretty embarrassing for me. Here I am, a serious whitetail hunter for nearly forty years and had to have Uncle Barry pick a tree for me   :help:

I had a stand in THE SPOT, or so I thought. 3 great runs coming together, 8" cedar trees torn to bits, two good, active scrapes and even a sighting of this buck one day going in.

I sat the stand several times and saw some dinks but not the big one. I asked Barry to check out my setup and he walked around a bit then disappeared over the ridge. Few minutes later I hear a low whistle. I walk over and he says "right here". I've hunted with the bearded one long enough to know that when he says "right here" you need to move your stand.

2 sits later in a sleet and snow squall, I look up to see this baby coming down the tubes. He took the wrong trail and ended up walking by at 28 yards. I drew on him twice trying to get the right "feel" the 3rd time was a charmer. Everything felt good and I released a perfect arrow. He stopped, looked around for about ten seconds and fell over.
