Well I guess it's my turn to chime in, get ready for some cooler weather (2 tons pellets, 3 tons of coal, and 2 cords of firewood) should do for next winter! But it's GREAT! Here in Paonia it's just a stones throw from Gunnison, we have two holidays around here, the 4th of july and christmas, the 4th is over so get the electric socks ready! Be sure and stop by if you are in the area, I live up Minnesota Creek, just ask any one for directions to Grizzly Bows......Mike

Andy,

Colorado would be a perfect place to really work on your cold smoking process. If you happen to get the chance to travel to the deep South, Let me know and we'll treat you to some real Southern BBQ.   :wavey:

Welcome Andy.  I get over that way  :biglaugh:    :biglaugh:   a few times each year.  Usually doing some fishing on Blue Mesa Res.
As everyone has told you, it gets pretty cold in the winter.  Might want to start shooting some rabbits for the new fur underwear you are going to need.

Andy,  Be sure and look up my son Zach who lives in Crested Butte.  He is on ski patrol, search & rescue, and fire dept there.  He spends a lot of time in the back country.  Plus the two of you are close in age...so I'm sure he knows the in town country pretty well too  :)   Doc
