Apex Predator

This ones pretty good.  If you shoot them "behind the shoulder" like a deer you get a gut shot.  I like to aim about 3" above the elbow which is pretty much straight in line with the leg when they are broad side.

I didn't claw my way to the top of the food chain to eat vegetables!

I think Don Thomas wrote that nothing goes down quicker than a perfectly hit hog; and nothing is easier to lose than a slightly-less-than-perfectly hit hog. I put an arrow through the top of both lungs on a sow yesterday, and she made about 60 metres.
