not gobbling at all

I live in Washington State and our Easterns are not gobbling at all, any suggestions?

Their doing the same thing here in Michigan, not talking at all. The only time we are hearing gobbles  is first thing in the a.m while still on roost and when they first fly down, after that they clam up..

There most likely set up with their hens and have a routine they follow, chances are the hens are roosting right with the gobblers. Just be patient don't pressure them to much, try to find a gobbling bird to hunt now and let the others do their thing once the hens get closer to sitting things will heat back up.

Gobbled this morning quite a bit. Daughter shot a non gobbling bearded hen. What fun even with a gun.

Here in WI I have always liked either the first week or the last couple for this reason.  Just like the big bucks during the actual breeding part of the rut, they are with the hens that are keeping them happy.  Once they disappear to their hidden nests and there are fewer hunters in the woods, they open up again.

Another tactic you could try is a late morning/early afternoon(where legal) hunt. By then the hens are usually on the nest.

we're getting into our last week here in ohio and its the same here also.if they bother to gobble on the roost they shut up when they hit the ground.my father-in-law was mushroom hunting in the same area i was turkey hunting in that early morning and ole tom heard him walking and started gobbling at him with each step,i think i'll try him later in the morning to see if he's in the mood for love.

I got mine last sat.He gobbled on the roost and flew down the opposite dir.Four hens flew down over my head to the field behind me talking like crazy.Ten minutes later 120yds. in the woods here he came right to me ,I never had to call.There were over a dozen birds gobbling there last week , only two that morn.

Yesterday I was set up on a roosting tree and nothing gobbled in my area.   I heard several birds gobbling around me but all of them was in an area I could not hunt.   I had two that were gobbling a long ways off.   I went for a hike and got close to one of them.   A hen busted me and took off.  I sat straight down and sat still for about a 1/2 hour.   I hit my slate call and one gobbled about 40yards in front of me.
   After an hour and 15 minutes he finally came off his stutting area and started circling me. The bird finally came in close enough for a shot.   I got him.  
  It was the last day this year I was going to be able to hunt so I chose to take the shotgun.   It was fun anyway.    It had one inch spurs and a 9.5 inch beard.  
  Fryed turkey breats for dinner.   Yum Yum.
Also some nice wing feathers for arrows.
