Can some of you post some pics of aged Osage in risers. I have a bow on order and I'm thinking of Osage has a complimentary wood along with Zircote.

I would love to see how dark it gets. Thanks.

I built this in 2001...so its about 7 years old....and not exposed to much sunlight or it would probably be darker.

This isn't much of a closeup but here is osage in a riser on my Ancient Spirits Kadiak

I have some closeups at home I'll post later.  It has a honey brown color for about 4 years and then starts getting much darker.  If you have a UV protective finsh applied, the oxidation will be slower.  Also, if you keep it in a bow sock in cooler conditions, it'll stay brighter longer.

These are both Osage, the darker one is about a year older than the lighter one.

Dwyer Original with Osage and Cocobolo. Sorry I don't know when it was made as i'm not the original owner, but I really like this combo!

Beautiful bows! Wish I had some pics of my Choctaw. It is all Osage and super dark.

I think every bow I own now has some Osage in it. One of my all time favorite bow woods.

Thank you all!!
