I rode out to check the Carp at a local lake this afternoon. I wasn't expecting much, as it's still a little low. But as soon as I opened the truck door, all I could hear was splashing, and when I walked down the bank, there were fish everywhere...  :D

I did better than I thought I would..  :)

hunter........I really like it.I haven't scaled it, but I suspect it pulls a bit more than what it's marked (55), which seems to be a common trait with GM's. I tend to shoot through alot of close fish so I usually use it for long bank shots until the lake gets up into the grass. For that, it really shines with the reel and FF line.
The only drawback to them that I see would be difficulty in mounting a retriever due to the "Tec" riser. It could be done I suppose, but you would need alot of spacers. I have a Quinn and a Kingfisher rigged with retrievers also.

Stay sharp, Kenny.

trad........you can check most state regs online. Seems like I've been to the Tennessee DNR site before.

Got to love when they are up shallow like that.  I have only been once, and shot four.  Haven't been in a boat yet.  One last try for the turkey, then it's all bowfishin' for the next few months!
