A friend just called with an unusual problem. He was shooting his old Scorpian and the top nock exploded. Anybody experience anything like this and how did you fix the bow? If he can find another Blackhawk bow can he swap the nocks? He's had the bow since he was a kid and sounds like lots of sentiment. I found a couple of them on yabe....... Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Dave

I love them and the ones I have don't have anything on the nock end just the fiberglass.  is it one of those with the fake horn type tip??

I have seen these cut down at events too that may explain the cutting down!!

Hey Tim,
Good to see ya! Yes it is the horn-like tip. I saw a pic of one and it looks a little strange. I was thinkin one could be fashioned out of osage or bone or something. The couple I saw on an auction site are kinda neat looking. One was only 21# and going pretty cheap, could he swap the tips out maybe?
