What can you tell me about a Shakespeare Wonderbow...Necedah Model.
I'm thinking of buying one.

I have a 40# made in 1974. It's my bowfisher. Grab it, they are nice bows.

I bought one off the auction site a couple years ago.  Both limbs were unfortunately twisted, but not beyond shootable after some work on it.  Overall, I give the bow a thumbs up.  A nice, smooth shooter, with decent speed.  The one I got was a 55" 45@28, made in 1964, if I recall my research correctly.  I put a Bear weather-rest on mine, due to the very long, flat shelf.  I believe it had an old feather-rest on it when I got it.

If the bow you're looking at is in good shape, go for it.  I doubt if you'll be disappointed.

A subtle play on words is better than a poke in the eye.

Looks just like the one I got in 1969.  I took my first whitetail with that bow and an aluminum Herter's arrow.  I still have it and it still shoots great.

The Necedah is what happened when Shakespear bought out Ernie Root's designs. In this case, it was the Root Brush-Master.

Very nice bows. I have an original Brush-Master, and I've also owned a Necedah. The Necedah isn't quite as "beefy" as the Brush-Master, but still a great bow.

I bought one in 1968.  Great bow!

A few years ago I found a 56" Super Necedah X-30 in 50# with the most gorgeous zebra wood at a pawn shop.  The $15 price was almost too much, but I bought it anyway.

It is a great shooter and has become my exclusive fish bow.
