I guess its time once again for me to crawl out of my cave if I'm gonna learn anything. All I've ever shot is woodies and aluminum shafts. The new age stuff seems pricey but from what I've been reading it might be worth a try.
I shoot a longbow 49 @ 28 but my draw is 26&1/2" so the weight I'm shooting is around 43#.
I am hoping to get suggestions on where to start?
Thanks in advance.
God bless,Mudd

About how many gpp do you want to shoot?
What point weight do you want to use?

Depending on the above,I would suggest a .500 or .600 GT Entrada at $50 a dozen for shafts.

I think a .600 unless you really want to load the front.Even with a .600 I think you will need to add weight to the front.

Don't cut the shafts a certin length and then try to tune.Tune by length AFTER you add enough to the front to make them a little weak.
