I have shot them.  They are a very tough, durable shaft.  I went to carbons a few years ago, but have nothing at all bad to say about 2020s.

Curtiss Cardinal

I shoot them out of my longbows that are in 60 to 65# range with great results.

2020's are about all I shoot. They are as tough as they come. You can tune them to a lot of different bow weights by adjusting your tip weight. The biggest reason I like them is the weight you get without a lot of messing around.

2020's are still around and being made.

What do you think about me shooting them out of this set up.  56# recurve, dacron string, center cut. 28.5" draw?
Currently shooting 2117 and looking for some more weight.

They will take a heavier bow than that, but will probably work just fine anyway.. If not, just go heavier up front. I shoot 31 inchers from a 63# @ 30 with 125 grain up front and they shoot great.. You might want to leave them long and trim them back as needed.

They should work well for ya Bear Heart if the 2117s are working for ya.Probably better especially since you are shooting a B-50 string. They spine a 4 pounds less than the 2117s you are currantly shooting. They will be about 35 grains heavier.

JRY309

I shoot 2020's from a couple of my heavier longbows in the 65# to 71# range.Tough arrow and easy to get them over 600+ grs.

2020 is a fantastic arrow.  I just started shooting them a few months ago and really like them so far.  I am sure if you give them a try you would not be dissapointed!

2020's are my favorite alu shafts, for he very same reasons Anvil stated above.
I say atleast give them a try out of that 56# bow, my 51# longbow loves them with 200gr up front.

I shoot the 2020's out of my older Morrison that is 61# @ 27".  Shoot 175 grain points on a arrow cut to 27-1/2".  They bareshaft perfect and hit with authority.  They will work fine from a 56# bow if you leave them a little long.

Bowsey Wails

I shoot 2020's out of my 51# @ 26" Chekmate Falcon. Without a doubt a very durable shaft. Bonus feature; you can use them as clubs!

I just picked some up earlier this week and they shoot great out of my tips! I went to the local archery shop and asked him for an arrow that won't break when shooting stumps b/c my cedar arrows kept breaking and he sold me some of these. They shoot great and have taken a beating!
