Too Bad I shot him on Nov 7, but didn't find him till yesterday...

So anyone know a good book to train a blood trailing dog?

As the old saying goes, "When life deals you lemons, make lemonade". Clean that puppy up and do a european mount with what what you have. Sorry for your loss but thankful for your find. Congrats.

Nice buck Gary. Most dogs I have seen will take to it naturally. You just have to get on a few easy trails till they get the idea. One of the best I ever saw was an english bulldog. Michael
