I used barge cement to glue down a rug rest that now needs to be replaced. What is the best thing to use to clean off the residue without damaging my bows finish?  :help:

use your thumb and simply "ball" it up...
i was told by a sales person, when purchasing an out-of-date newpaper that it was out-of-date...

i told her "i've been told i'm out-of-date, too"...

does that mean i'm up-to-date?

If the thumb doesn't work for you (it should), or you want to get all residue toluene is the solvent. I have not had it mess up the finish on my bows.
shoot straight shoot often

You may have to do some searching around to see where you can buy it "on the street", but if you ever find some,#6041 3M Adhesive Remover is the best stuff I've used for  anything adhesive related. It's citrus based.

Toluene should be sold at most paint stores.
