I just got off the phone with Curtis and it looks like my son and I are gonna be heading south in July/August to chase some piggies!

This is going to be great! First time hunt for my son, first time hog hunt for me.

I've been dreaming of hunting hogs with a bow since I first started bow hunting.

Guess I better getting some recipes together.

By the way, if you ever have the chance to speak to Curtis ,Littlefeather, he's a heck of a nice guy. He made me want to move down to the Lone Star state tomorrow. Thanks Curtis.

You will enjoy hunting pigs in the late summer.  The green grass is mostly burnt out so the pigs are hunting for food.  Kinda warm during the day but late evening, night and early morning are about as much fun as you can have with your clothes on.

Lived in TX almost 20 years.  You need to watch the heat, humid's the killer though.  Bring some type of insect repellent, that will kill you at dusk and night time.
